Ariana Afghan Airlines signs an agreement with TURKISH TECHNIC for two Boeing 737-400 Pool Services

TURKISH TECHNIC and ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES signed Pool Contract in February 2011, which covers two B737-400 model aircrafts of ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES. The services will be carried out at TURKISH TECHNIC Istanbul Facilities. 

TURKISH TECHNIC declared “Thanking ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES for choosing TURKISH TECHNIC for the pool service and appreciate greatly the trust that ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES has placed in us by signing this contract. Yakutia Airlines signed maintenance contracts with TURKISH TECHNIC for ıts B737-800

TURKISH TECHNIC had signed a C Check maintenance service agreement with YAKUTIA AIRLINES, which will cover one base maintenance C check on Boeing 737-800 and Painting Service Agreement, which covers one B737-800 tail painting activity. The Maintenance works will be carried out at TURKISH TECHNIC’s facilities in Istanbul, during November & December 2011.

Yakutia Airlines, based in in Yakutsk, Russia. It operates domestic passenger services in Russia and within the CIS, as well as charters to destinations in Europe from its hubs at Yakutsk Airport and Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, has 7 Boeing 737NG and 8 Boeing 757-200 Aircrafts in its fleet. The airline was founded as Sakhaavia, the former Aeroflot Yakutsk Division and also previously known as Yakutaviatrans. It also operated cargo charters to Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East until it filed for bankruptcy in early 1999. It emerged in 2000 and is controlled by the regional government, Neryungri State Air Enterprise. It merged with Yakutavia in 2002 and changed its name to Yakutia Airlines.

19th World Congress on Occupational Health and Safety at Work

The 19 World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, jointly organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey, will be held first time in Istanbul, 11-15 September 2011. Organized every three years since 1955, the World Congress provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge, practices and experiences for all occupational safety and health specialists, employers and managers, trade unions, public administration, insurance and social security professionals, manufacturers and importers, as well as anyone with an interest in safety and health at work. 

TURKISH TECHNIC will be one of the six companies which will be visited during the Congress. TURKISH TECHNIC will host domestic and international attendies in it’s facilities on 14 September 2011 and will inform them about TURKISH TECHNICs Occupational Health and Safety Applications. 

In addition to our Safety and Health at Work Applications, we will continue to target zero accident as written in the first sentence on our OHSAS 18001 quality certificate (owned since 2006) “Non of the business is more urgent and important to risk human safety of life”.

TURKISH TECHNIC visited Alp Aviation Facitilies on 23.08.2011 with the attandance of some management & engineering staff. Mr. Özcan BAŞTEKİN (Sales & Marketing Director), Mr. İsmail KILINÇ (Component Shops Director, Mr. Ahmet Çağrı ÖZER (Strategy Planning &Projects Manager), Mr. Mustafa Özcan YAMAN (Manufacturing & Repair Shops Manager), Mr. Şevki METO (Hydromechanical Systems Lead Engineer),Mr. Korkut BAYTAZ (APU Shop Superindent), Mr. Ahmet AKBAŞ (APU Shop Engineer) and Mr. Süleyman DOYUK (LDG Shop Engineer) were representing TURKISH TECHNIC during the visit. Alp Aviation representatives gave information about the manufacuring, technical and production capabilities and Parties shared information about the business co-operation.

Pegasus Airlines signs Aircraft Maintenance Agreement with TURKISH TECHNIC for B737CL Base Maintenance in its fleet

Pegasus Airlines & TURKISH TECHNIC signed Base Maintenance Services Agreement for 1 Boeing 737-500 Redelivery Check and 1 B737-400 C Check. Maintenance will be carried out at TURKISH TECHNIC’s facilities in Istanbul, Turkey, within the fourth quarter of 2011.

TURKISH TECHNIC, signed APS3200 APU repair services contact with Atlasjet which covers 2 APU repair and spare support during shop visits. Repair work will be carried out at TURKISH AIRLINES TECHNIC’s APU shop in Istanbul, Turkey; from the beginning of May to end of June 2010.
