Atlasjet selects Turkish Technic for Landing Gear Overhaul Services

Atlasjet signed Landing Gear Maintenance Services agreement with Turkish Technic for two landing gear sets of A321 aircraft. Landing gear removal & installation, landing gear overhaul activities will be carried at Turkish Technic’s Istanbul facilities. Turkish Technic will also support Atlasjet with its spare units during shop visits. 

Turkish Technic has been providing MRO services for a wide variety of services for Atlasjet and last year Turkish Technic provided service for two of Atlasjet’s landing gear sets.  Atlasjet expressed their trust in Turkish Technic’s quality of services and they are glad to have the support of one of the most powerful MRO’s in the region.

Turkish Technic Sales and Marketing Director Altug Sokeli also thanked Atlasjet for their trust in Turkish Technic Landing Gear Maintenance Services, and added “Turkish Technic is proud to support Atlasjet Landing Gear Overhaul program.”

Aerotron choe Turkish Technic for APU Services

Turkish Technic modified A320 sharklet for the first time for a European Airline

As the sole maintenance provider of Turkish Airlines, Turkish Technic recently provided sharklet modification for Turkish Airlines A321 aircraft. By this modification Turkish Airlines has become the first European airline operating A320 family with the production-retrofitted sharklets and eight more A321 aircraft in Turkish Airlines fleet will be modifed by Turkish Technic until May 2014. The company is also being prepared for in-service retrofit at A319 and A320s (for the aircrafts without sharklet provision) for which the retrofit solution will be available in 2015.

Within the scope of three routes (linefit, production retrofit and in-service retrofit) of installation, sharklets have been introduced by Airbus to Airlines and MROs since these new devices are hoped to provide fuel burn reduction, operating cost saving, increased payload / range capability, imroved take off performance, higher optimum altitude and design service goal extension.

Following two days’ work (sharklets and flight computer functionality retrofitted in service) in Istanbul, Turkish Tecnic completed the first sharklet production retrofit which was effective to certain number of Turkish Airlines A321 type aircraft delivered with modified center wing box and wing structure. The production retrofit done was mainly based on structural works and was consist of four major steps as given hereunder;

•    Wing tip fence removal
•    Wing and sharklet (Rib 27 and Rib 27A) connection with tension bolts and  barrel nuts, multi-lugs and pins.
•    Avionics systems update
•    Flight operation manuals update

Turkish Technic provides C Check for XL Airways Franca

XL Airways France & Turkish Technic signed an agreement for B737-800 Aircraft Base Maintenance Services. The service will be performed at Turkish Technic’s facilities in Istanbul, Turkey.

SpiceJet and Turkish Technic sign component support contract

SpiceJet, India's most preferred low cost airline, owned by the Sun Group of India and operated by SpiceJet Limited, and Turkish Technic , have signed a contract for comprehensive component support for the airline's Boeing 737 NG fleet for a term of five years extendable to ten years, a leverage to SpiceJet service excellence.

The contract comprises component supply and repair on ATA Chapter basis. Components will be supplied from Istanbul / Turkey. Repair and overhaul work of the components will be executed at the Turkish Technic sites Istanbul / Turkey. 

SpiceJet (IATA: SG, ICAO: SEJ), operates in Chennai International Airport (Chennai), Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad) operates 36 Boeing 737-800 / 737-900ER and 15 Bombardier Q400. SpiceJet provides scheduled domestic flights as well as scheduled international flights over 350 flights daily to 51Indian cities and 7 international destinations.

Ethiopian Airlines signed Landing Gear Services contract for B737-700 type Aircraft with Turkish Technic

Ethiopian Airlines and Turkish Technic have signed a contract providing a Landing Gear Maintenance Services for B737-700 type Aircraft. The newly signed contract is the first business agreement between the parties. The services will be carried out at Turkish Technic Istanbul Facilities in May 2013. Contract has also covered Landing Gear spare support during the shop visit.

Turkısh Technic signed C Check Maintenance Agreement with Nordwind Airlines

Nordwind Airlines signed C Check maintenance contract for its two Airbus A321 Aircraft with Turkish Technic. The services will be carried out at Turkish Technic Istanbul Facilities in March 2013. 

Nordwind Airlines, LLC is a charter airline from Russia. The company is headquartered in Moscow, with the city's Sheremetyevo International Airport being the most important base for its flight operations. Nordwind Airlines links a multitude of airports in Russia with holiday destinations around the Mediterranean Sea, and at the Indian Ocean.

MNG Airlines Signed Component Pool Services Agreement for A330F Cargo Aircraft with TURKISH TECHNIC

Turkish Technic has signed a five year component pool services agreement with MNG Airlines for the Airbus A300F cargo aircraft which MNG Airlines has recently added to its fleet and is expected to receive deliveries of in the coming years. In addition to this agreement, Turkish Technic will be providing line maintenance and parts support for these aircraft, with negotiations ongoing for the provision of base maintenance services in the future.

MNG Airlines representatives expressed their trust in the quality of Turkish Technic’s services and their gratitude in having the support of one of the most powerful MRO’s in the region.

Turkish Technic officials declared their appreciation of the trust placed in their company by MNG Airlines. The officials said that they also believe the quality of the service provided by Turkish Technic would meet the expectations set forth by MNG Airlines and added that this Component Pool Services Agreement is a step towards improving the long term relations between the two companies.
